Taylor Beck, CIPP, CIPT, FIP is a leading practioner in Technical privacy. He is currently a Staff Privacy Architect for Uber Technologies Inc and has over 13 years experience in the industry. He has worked for companies such as Amazon, Magic Leap, Nike, and Macy's. In his time at Magic Leap and Amazon, he worked to define the technical privacy risk landscape for Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Realty. He has spoken on the topic of privacy risk in the Metaverse at diverse conferences including SIGGRAPH where he presented topics on Privacy and Cybersecurity in Extended Reality, Identity in Extended Reality, and Deepfakes. Taylor has also focused his work in recent years on strategies for mitigating risk for algorithmic bias and fairness testing in machine learning applications.
